My intention for the month of May is to see what happens when I reduce my sugar consumption. After an almost year long hiatus, on April 11 I resumed tracking my intake using Cronometer. My goal for May is to reduce my sugar intake. I’m not going to put a specific number on it beyond less than the 140 grams per day I consumed between April 11 and 30. I believe my activity level is fueled by sugar. I’m curious if I see any decrease in activity. I’ll measure this by Daily Steps, Total Exercise Time, Average Exercise Load and Body Battery numbers. I’m concerned less sugar = less energy. Because that’s my belief, it could be self-fulfilling. I want data! I’m not attempting any reduction in Carbohydrate. I was at 246 grams per day. There is Carbohydrate in Vegetables as well as the soon-to-be-in-season Berries. Those are foods I want to be eating!
