Kettlebells

My first set of Kettlebells were these made by Kor. At the time, I was worried about wandering dogs getting in the way. I figured the rubber coating would make any mishap less disastrous. They are very near and dear to my heart.

Over many years, I purchased an entire set (5-35#) at PowerSystems. They are also available from Amazon.

A couple of summers ago, I started pursuing Kettlebell juggling. This requires Competition Kettlebells. I’ve been purchasing them in pairs at Kettlebell Kings and/or KettlebellsUSA.

NOTE: The handles on competition kettlebells come in two sizes; 33mm and 35mm. I use the smaller 33mm. Tip: A larger person could use the smaller handles, a smaller person can not manage the larger handles.

These are the most common Kettlebells. There is nothing wrong with them, I have an entire set. But! As the kettlebell gets heavier, the bell and the handle gets bigger. I use the smaller 5, 10 and 12# on a regular basis because they are small. I need to get rid of the larger ones (>20#) because I can’t hang on to them. There are too many people making this type to put up any link.
